Living Software

We come as tabla rasa - blank sheet
ready to be written on.
No, not true.
We come encoded - a new recording
of an ancient script.
Data’s issue.
A history engrained - each cell
recalling information.
Neurons sparking.
A mother board wired up - ready
for instruction.
Software’s living tissue.
We are waiting to download - a code
for living from the source.
Potential incarnated.
And we wait in expectation - incoming
data to reach the stars.
Flawed programs.
Flow in never ending streams - corrupting,
limiting the future’s dream.
New programmer’s required.
Before we crash or die - we’re waiting,
we’re waiting, new data please.

to continue mckenna's technological metaphor - i think a lot of us need to format our hard-drive and experience a clean re-boot!!! :)

In response to:FOOD OF THE GODS

Very interesting post....Thanks!

In response to:FOOD OF THE GODS

:) Interesting...as a past explorer of LSD and mescaline, I can relate very much to this essay...:) Opens up the mind to concealed worlds, and you see the whole world in a different light from then on...well, it did that to me...:) GBHs...XXX

In response to:chapter 1, scene 1.

Very vivid...and well written too...GBHs...XXX

In response to:madness

 Great Film! :)

In response to:madness

Very interesting....and great film...:) GBHs...XXX

In response to:acting on instinct

Echoes sentiments by Shakespeare speaking throuhg Polonius to his son, Laertes, in Hamlet: "This, above all, to thine own self be true, thou can'st then not be false to anyone."
